34, 36 & 37. Whoops.

I didn’t put up a post on the 10th or the 12th of November (today being the 13th).
To amend that mistake, this poorly constructed post will contain three separate updates for each of these days.

34. Monday the 10th.
I’ve been working on a mosaic of a butterfly in my art class. It was coming aong nicely, but we have to hammer our own tiles to get the pieces we need to put it together. A small piece of tile managed to work its way into my finger, so I’ve got a strange splinter in the middle of my right index finger. It’s a bit too deep to pull out, so I plan to wait for it to come out on it’s own. I’d complain, but it’s actually kind of entertaining to scare my friends with it. Plus it gives me an excuse to slack off during volleyball.

36. Wednesday the 12th.
Yep, I made an effort to remember this blog on Remembrance Day (wordplay, anyone?). Anyway. The splinter still hasn’t come out.
It was a hot day.
Thirty three degrees celcius. And as I’m sure you know, hot days always feel really long. I felt less inclined to go to school than I usually do. It ended up being a pretty hilarious day, though, for reasons so incoherent I couldn’t possibly explain. But I was glad when I heard the last bell and rushed home. I wanted to sleep, but I couldn’t. I have an accelerated tuition class on Wednesdays. I felt less inclined to go to tuition than I usually do. It wasn’t so bad because the class is in an air conditioned room, and it was actually kind of entertaining for reasons so illogical I couldn’t begin to explain. But I was really glad when it was over and I got to rush home. I wanted to sleep, but I couldn’t. I had homework to do. I felt less inclined to do my homework than I usually do…
It was a hot day.

37. Thursday the 13th.
Okay, so today is Thursday and this is today’s actual post. Everything posted prior to this point is, for all intents and purposes, not actually a part of the same post.
If that made any sense at all.
I just felt the need to make up for forgetting to put up a post twice within three days. It kind of destroys the purpose of my daily blogging idea. Plus I want to be able to say “Hey, I’ve blogged every single day for over a month now!” and have it actually be true. To a certain extent, at least.
I admit, I’m probably going to come back and read this tomorrow and realise that it doesn’t make any sense. I mean, it all makes sense to me right now as I’m typing, but I’m probably going to sign in tomorrow to find that I didn’t manage to articulate anything the way I wanted to.
If that made any sense at all.
Today was another hot day, and I think I’ll end it here.
Hopefully I’ll remember this blog on time, and won’t feel obligated to write a messy post like this again any time soon.
